Today at the used book store I found a paperback copy of Darkling by K.M. Peyton. As I recall, it's a about a girl who loves horses and tames a "bad boy" horse named Darkling. She also gets caught in a bit of a love triangle with two brothers.
This is a coming of age story about a girl and her horse...and all I remember with any clarity is the one hazy sex scene...
Which I am going to reread. Right. Now. I'll let you know if it still holds up.
