Hey there, Reader. It's a bit gloomy today. I'm at the bookstore trying to decide what I should work on first. I've also been thinking about NaNoWriMo. For those of you who don't know, November is considered National Novel Writing Month, and those who participate in NaNoWriMo commit to thirty days of writing with the hopes of hitting December with a completed novel in hand.
Now, no one is under the impression that this would be a finished novel, just a draft. I've been so overwhelmed with revisions lately (and conferences before that) that my new novel has been completely neglected for months. It's getting to the point that I'm a little scared of it. Maybe NaNo would force me to jump into it and just get a draft down.
Anyone out there want to weigh in on this or share their own NaNo experiences? Anyone...Bueller...?
