I Shoulda Ran

Okay, Reader. I'm about to tell you The Plan for today, so that YOU (yes, you right there at the computer) can hold me accountable, if it pleases you to do so. Ready?

No, I'm not ready!

Ummmm, hey have you seen/ do you remember this Sesame Street video that I think of whenever I talk about making plans (which is all the time)? For some reason, this has stuck with me through the years...

Okay, I feel better. I'm ready now. I'm actually dressed in real clothes not sweatpants and I have beside me a Dunkin Donuts coffee. The only thing I have to do today is write. Well, and make a casserole and call the doctors office...

NO, no. Stop that right now, Jennifer. I can make the casserole tonight and call the doctor tomorrow.

Let's start over. I'm going to turn off the internet, drink my coffee, and write. Just write, all day. At the end of the day, I will treat myself by going to Zumba class, because up in Vermont that's about the closest thing we have to a thrill on a winter night. Samba--what!? I know, it's crazy up in this bitch.

Oh, and by the way: Welcome, Reader 31. You have been noticed and you are most welcome. Make yourself at home.

In other news, I'm sending my thoughts to Christchurch, New Zealand today (get live updates here). Please consider sending support to the Red Cross, if you can. I know we're all pinched tight, but every little bit helps.
