Side Note:Isn't "beta reader" a funny term? I picture her/him as Synergy from Jem and the Holograms.
But that might just be due to the fact that I was procrastinating earlier with Jem clips on YouTube.
Did you hear they are re-releasing the entire show on DVD for the holidays?? Yay!

ReplyDeleteWhaddaya, yeah that's the rumor. Just tried to find an official statement and failed. Apparently they're currently airing the series on The Hub.
And also apparently Jem was created by the same people who did GI Joe. I'm guessing they released the show on air first to get people interested, then they'll do a holiday DVD release, and then maybe try for a live action movie like GI Joe. This is the perfect time for it. People are into 80s nostalgia, and musical shows, and the Jem 80s fashion is sort of in right now.
